ok. havent been doing much this week. sunday was spent trying to study for my social work module. monday was spent doing the same thing. and had to finish some poster for my design module. lets just say the theme for the poster was too restrictive in my opinion. cuz the poster had the have the word "save", "prevent" or "kill", so there wasnt really any room to create a nice poster? and we couldnt use photos from the internet. had to blardy draw all of it through photoshop. rahhh.

tuesday morning. didnt got for 2209 lect. kinda overslept. blardy hell. at least shijia went. most prob borrow notes from her next week. wed was another day spent trying to work on my social work presentation due next week. then my evening was spent helping the TH Bazaar at Science fac. lets just say that the bazaar was ok lah. not too good and not too bad. it would have been better, IF OSA allowed us to play music or do some shit to attract more ppl to the blardy bazaar. oh wells.. then after that was family hour during dinner time. i wasnt exactly supposed to do anything OR even supervise the members setting up the sound system. but then the farked up person who was supposed to do it told me he forgot he had some project meeting?? i really wanna slap his face redi lah. cuz this isnt like the first time he's done this shit. and he's not exactly a very helpful member cuz he's damn lazy and shit. then bring on the primadonnas. you're only performers from some hall culture comm?? dont need to boss us around. cuz i can easily screw up your performance whenever i want to?

anw. im digressing. i shall rant about all these idiots another time. not much time to rant now.. i have 3 deadlines next week. got social work individual report AND group report due on 24th March, and social work presentation to do by wednesday. and i need to do these reports by monday?? cuz need to discuss my part with the others on monday, esp my part for the group report. and need to do my individual report by monday cuz i'll be going out on the 23rd?? haha.

and the worst part is that i have to do it all this weekend. and im going home this weekend summore la. go figure.

the biggest relief so far this semester.
my appeal to drop comp graphics without getting an F grade has been accepted by the asst dean. so right now, im taking only 4 modules. looks like i better work my ass off for these 4 modules.

anyways, to pick up from yest's entry. i actually went out for dinner and to catch a movie at cineleisure after yest's test. very last minute thing, but im glad i decided to take a break last night instead of poring over books. went to hong kong cafe to eat dinner. had cheese baked rice. me swears that the baked rice there is like 1000x better than the seasons or vivo pizza's baked rice. and their milk tea is awesome lah. and one thing that struck me. even though it was called "hongkong cafe", i confirm never seen half the food on the menu before at the roadside stalls in hongkong before la.. where in hongkong does the roadside stall sell baked rice? or CRAB CONGEE which looked blardy tempting, but the price of it was like $30?? lolsss.

oh wells. temptations aside. went to watch P.S. I love you cuz there wasnt any other movies at 9.45pm, other than "water horse" (urghhhhhhh) and "the eye" (which i have watched and in my opinion, its e worst horror movie i have watched)... haha.. and for some reason. i have to admit, THE MOVIE WAS DAMN NICE lahh.. also, i did not shed one tear even though it was supposed to be a sad movie. haha.. but still, the movie was damn good, one of e best i watched this year, along with Eastern Promises.. and watching gerald butler (king leonidas from 300) act in a normal movie, without exactly shouting out every word, shows that he has perhaps some acting potential. haha. =x

came back to hall ard 2plus. couldnt really slp. wasnt sure why. managed to wake up at like 12plus, in time to get ready and stuff for my class from 2-6pm. and hall food was excellent for once. the black pepper pork ribs was shiokkk. went to ikea to get myself a pillow. turns out they were out of stock. they only had the $40 and above ones. oh wellllss... left only with e ikea ice cream. haha.

just finished watching 30 days of night on my laptop. turns out the movie was OVER-HYPED. i shall say that again. OVER-HYPED boring gay ass movie. haha. sorry for being so critical. but it was even scary or suspenseful or anything. it was just bloody? maybe cuz i watched it too soon after watching ps i love you in e cinema. haha. and this post has shown me something. I HAVE BEEN PRACTICALLY SLACKING SINCE THURSDAY EVENING..... farkkk lahh. ok.. i better go and sleeep soon, so i can spend my whole day tomorrow studying.

anyways. HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY VICTOR LIEW!!! or my neighbour who stays opposite me. hahah. sad to say we couldnt celebrate your birthday cuz you went back to JB. butttt.. i have a special present for you. and im gonna put it up on my blog. haha.

PS. who watched "Speed Racer" cartoon last time?? those who like me have watched it when we were young remember this cartoon with e kid driving in e car and etc right. and even though this movie adaptation (yes yes. by the wachowski brothers) looks damnnn farking cheesy. I WILL STILL WATCH it. hahaha. because of the computer graphics in it, which look damn sweeeeeeeeet balllz.. check out this trailer man. it seems like one of those movies i definitely must watch in e movies to enjoy it properly.

got hooked again on placebo's music. alt rock at its best. perhaps it has something to do with the sexual orientation of the band members. haha. here's a fun fact. there's 3 band members, the lead singer is bisexual, the bassist/guitarist is homosexual and the drummer is heterosexual. perhaps thats how they make their music so good. hahaha. oh wells, even though he is gay, the sunglasses on the bassist in the vid looks super cool. heh.

ok. here's the week's update. friday was spent catching up with alison who came down with my absolut pears. woots. supposed to be grey goose pears, but then the dfs shop no stock. so unfortunately, absolut pears for 10pounds. haha. still cheap in my opinion since absolut pears not sold in this region currently. so i met her then we both met chua for dinner. where else but half-bbq chicken. haha. hmmm. after tt both of them came over to stay. alison brought down penguins (penguins dina, not pigeons) chocolates and chua's bailey's choc. tried the pears. quite nice actually, if you can stand the aftertaste which tastes like cough medicine. well. i rather drink this than eat skittles. yeuch.

mainly we just chatted, drank, youtubed and watched the hills have eyes. ordered mcdonald nuggets for supper. then sleep. chua left in e morning after breakfast at prata. alison left in e afternoon. went home on sunday, to attend a dinner with a family friend before he leaves for australia. then after dinner slacked at home for a while before going back to hall.

filmed my 3minute video finish on tuesday. cant believe i decided to use tt script. oh wells. whats done is done. at night, went out with chua, irwin and leong to eat dinner at yuki and yaki. the food at tt place is quite good for like erms. ard 20sing per person for adult. plenty of choices of food also la. i think i rather go yuki and yaki next time rather than going to marina bay. heh. oh ya. thanks irwin for paying for us. hahaha. after tt, supposed to go watch movie, but then plenty of stuff happened. malas to type out. lol.

wednesday. the whole day and night was spent editing my video. oh ya. ard dinner time, went to collect my latest (but expensive) toy. haha. presenting my new led watch. haha.

damn cool i swear. im damn broke too la. the other day just bought a guess belt at like ard 50% off, but still quite ex. now this.
thursday, finally managed to export the video after editing the video on wed night. dinner, then had 3min video review. aihz. its like the bell curve all over again. malas to cakap.

not much to update about holiday comms. just that i dont really feel like i belong in tech crew. too cheeena for me. maybe i shoulda followed willie and farand to oc. true they have a lot of work, but then when its time to work, they work hard, when its time to play, they play hard. aihz.

on a brighter note, my absolut pears is arriving tomorrow. hahaha.
oh ya. i am proud to say that i have finally eaten donuts from donut factory. lol. me , dina, chooisyn and victor went to queue up for it that sunday. turned out we only queued up for like 45mins.. not too long as i've seen the line longer before. as expected we each ordered ard a dozen. hahha. i ate those 12donuts for like 3days.

after the donuts. i actually went to go eat chippy's fish and chips. hahha. deemed beer battered fish n chips. i went all brit and ate it with just salt and vinegar. its quite excellent. didnt eat the fried mars bars, since i already had the donuts. my conclusion on donut factory donuts, its worth the 45mins queueing time due to its flavours which are different. cant beat krispy kreme though. hahaha.

hm. what other interesting stuff happened. oh ya. jaclyn got into miss earth finals! hahahahahahha. the story is damn funny. she was actually approached by some scouting person in zouk. then when the scouting person asked her whether she wanted to join miss earth 2007, she replied "whats miss earth?".. hahahhaa. look where she is now. lol.

hm. tuesday was kinda a boring day. went for soci lecture. the guy's microphone volume was so low until cannot hear wat he said. and his slides, brilliantly go put blue background, and red words. farking wanker innit? strained my ears until i heard him properly to write down any important stuff. tuesday was spent reading the philo text in preparation for my philo paper. i tink i'll write my assignment based on descartes rather than j.s. mills. for obvious reasons. cuz mills text is mainly based on freedom and politics. and well. i cant really write well on political stuff, so i guess i have to avoid tt question. oh wells. have to meet e tutor on friday also to discuss my outline. see whether its moving in the right direction or not.

wed, was spent mugging. decided not to go lect to self study. wasnt too bad i guess. studied 1104 in e afternoon. took afternoon nap. placed order for threadless tees. went to library to mug 1104 summore in e evening. at night. was spent planning philo paper outline. yup.

and i swear gonna die next week la. thursday, got 'bee futon' spinning at 'the clinic' which looks like a farking awesome club based on its website. then friday, got 'groove armada soundsystem' playing at zouk. you might remember them for their club hit "i see you baby, shaking that ass". lol. then on saturday. electro mayhem at zouk with 'the rapture' live. heard they gonna play one hour live music. then after that each member will spin for an hour each. meaning 5hours of music. for only like 20bucks. woooots~~

not sure la. but then most probably i'll skip friday's one, need to study. cant go club so much.. and besides, i need to save money for more acts this year. heard djs like tiga, erol alkan, justice and digitalism coming down.. talk about the year 2007. first twomanydjs, then the rapture. gonna be a farking good year for electro fans.

not really sure wat to blog about. shall just blog about what stuff happened in the month of march.

one of the more prominent events that i can rmb, is of NUS open house. me willie and farand joined the open house crew, since we were considerably free during that time. had to work on both 10th and 11th march. was supposed to do duty from like 12-3pm. but then for some reason, they changed my duty time slot to 9-12 and i only found out about it in a msg at 3am. like wth la. well. no choice. had to wake up at 8.30, take quick shower and rush to ucc, grabbing an ock puff along the way.

hm. open house on first day was quite ok i guess. unfortunately, our hall booth was after king edward, kent ridge and raffles booth. so the ppl a bit sian when they reach our booth. mainly cuz of they were bored after listening to 3halls. cant really blame them but then its a bit hard to persuade them to come our hall w/o talking to them.. cant rmb wat i did after my shift. most probably went out, since it was a saturday. 2nd day of open house was worse than e first day, mainly cuz there was less ppl? most probably due to it being a church day. oh wells. after my duty. went to find deborah at her netball recre booth. watched jason perform some gay-ass wushu skills with some sword. he looked more like he was gonna cut his head off rather than his enemy's one. haha. =x oh wells. ate lunch. went to talk to jaclyn at her aerobics booth for a while, then went back to hall. e rest, i cant really rmb.

next up, was pa live awards. well. lets just say its a very sensitive issue and the only thing i can say, is that through the pa live awards, you really find out more about the people your working with, their strengths, their flaws, and work ethics. dont really wanna judge ppl, but then from behind the sound table, you dont have a choice but to work with this kind of ppl. at debriefing, raymond asked me whether i had any comments. i just said no, cuz i felt the event was over, and there was no point being a prick and spoiling the mood. besides im sure some ppl felt good that they were getting all the praise. at least praise the soundman of second stage, david which i think did an excellent job, since he had to control the volume of all the band instruments. its no easy task. aihz. shant talk abt it anymore. waste my time.

then, was sociology paper. had to buy 2day's worth of newspapers b4 i found what i wanted. haha. found an article about kidnappings in india. must say that it was quite a good topic to write on for my paper. finished it like.. 3days b4 the deadline. 2days b4 deadline, jaclyn asked me for my article to go photocopy. lol. thankfully we dont share the same tutor. though i think lim lan yu is a fun tutor, compared to all e tutors i had. dont really know why charmaine doesnt like her. oh wells. i shall be indifferent to it.

friday, 23th of march was the day where 2manydjs performed at zouk. lets just say when mylo performed at zouk, i said it was farking excellent for 4/5 hours of spinning. as for 2manydjs. they spinned for like 2 and a half hours. lets just say the effect was like 10times greater than mylo and they spinned for less the time also. it was like, in leong's term on how he described tiesto, "orgasmic". this was like some "mega orgasm" la.
lol. oh wells. met my cousin at ard 8. went to get chop at zouk ard 9. met his other friends, ate dinner at great world city's mcdonalds. ard 1030, we went in, cuz the 2free drinks were only applicable b4 11. after that we waited for 2manydjs until ard 1 when they started spinning. all kind of tracks came out la. retro, rock, electro, disco came out. even some song which sounded like some jap anime kind of song, they managed to pull it off la. that was how good they were.

we left zouk ard 4plus. came back to my room. found my room fucking filled with hundreds of insects.. like farking hell la. these were the kind which shed their wings summore. omg la. thanks to victor for helping me clean up half my room. after sweeping, then mopping, changing bed sheet. showered. then went for breakfast b4 sleeping the afternoon away. woke up for dinner. went to ginza. at night. was trying hard to focus on my philosophy paper. sad to say, it was a failure. =s

sunday, went cartel for lunch. cant really say i liked cartel as much as the first time i went there. supreme platter is seriously damn small now. not worth my money. with the money i spent at cartel, pay like 5dollars more can get hog's breath dinner. hhaha. oh wells. follow the crowd and suffer they say. saw austen and vanessa. they queue up for donut factory donuts for like 45mins. haha. i dont care man. after finals i'll go there queue up and buy at least half a dozen donuts for my own consumption. heh.

so far, monday has been a normal one. nothing interesting happened. except that i just filled up my form for holiday comm. decided to join tech crew, after thinking very hard about whether to join tech crew and rag. had so many reasons not to join tech crew, as well as that many reasons not to join rag. lets just hope i didnt make a wrong decision. aihz.

have to finish philo paper by this week. need to start on other subjects esp my 3core modules. have not been doing enough work for it. also have to start studying soci together with jaclyn starting frm next wk. busy busy busy. though im kind of looking forward to the temasek day this wkend.

and for some farking reason. everytime i try to blog. my connection to blogger seems to be down. seems like it only happens after i upload a picture? like wtf man. sian ji puah.

ok. didnt go to any lects on wed. felt particularly lazy, and since i didnt go for 1102 lect on monday, didnt see a point in going. and well, for 1104 lect, go there sure ston cuz cant understand wat tt woman is teaching anw. so didnt go. practically wasted half the day watching southpark online. lol. at this rate gonna be quite farked for the test on sat and quiz on friday.

at night went for secretariat meeting first. stuff on points allocation board minutes collection. then at 10 went with farand and willie for e erc open house crew briefing. looks like will be working ard 3/4 days for 2points. lol. oh well.

thurs had to wake up early. had philo tut in e morning at 10. damn boring as usual. non interactive class i guess. =s then tapau lunch. slept for a while. supposed to wake up at 1. which i did. turned of alarm and lay on e bed. thank goodness charmaine called me up at like 1.50. lol. rushed like mad after that. bought a tin of coffee, which finished in like 15secs. heng reach e class in time. cuz e class was in arts. talk abt shiok. next time soc will be next to business, more shiok.

now got pa duty. sian. cant rmb how to use lightsboard. and e worse way to eat oats cereal. is to put milo powder on it, and realise. that the milk is not in my fridge. its in daniel's fridge.. gah... oh wells. and it really really works the jaw.

and soci tut is damn fun. too bad only once in two weeks. and at least got chick to see in tut. lol.

wooots. finally an update.
been pretty busy the past week. cant really rmb stuff b4 chinese new year unfortunately. so here's update from cny onwards only.

first two days of cny visit relatives like everyyear. damn sian considering that cny holiday is like so short and still have to study for exams.. during that cny week, only managed to finish my philo paper assignment and study a bit of maths. most of it was spent sleeping. i slept like almost 9-10hours daily during tt week. its like almost 2times the amount i sleep during term time. lol.

cant rmb. i think it was second day of new year that night went out with leong, chua, irwin and ashok to watch ghost rider. nabei waste money in my opinion. cuz personally i think nicholas cage was too old to play johnny blaze. and ya, when he's in the flaming skull form, it'll most prob be a stuntman riding e bike and etc. should have watched like "zombie kampung pisang". lol.

then on thurs morning went to eugene's house to go lepak a bit. went out for lunch after tt. at night went to my grandfather's birthday dinner. after that had to travel back to sg redi due to productions.

friday morning. woke up at like 6am after sleeping like 2/3 hours. had to transport e stuff from TH to UCC. after transporting we had to set up stage and etc. finished like ard 3/4pm. after that. since they had rehearsals and repairing stage and touching up the sets, we had to stay until like 11pm when UCC closed.

saturday, woke up at like 8. had to be there redi. cuz they were having rehearsals, so as a sets boy, had to be there cuz have to carry the props on stage and off and etc. during rehearsal not so much cock-up la. but then during the real performance, shit happened. when carrying the sofa, suaneast accidentally kicked the stage. lol. so suay part of e sofa drop on my finger summore, and later i tink brian accidentally kicked the fluouroscent(cant spell it, dont really care) light.. and some1 said the sign was lopsided. so luckily we had intermission to fix these stuff. well. im quite happy that its finally over. at least got more time to study. after tt had to study for maths test on tuesday.

monday. was damn lazy to go for 9am lecture. which i didnt go in the end. even after waking up at like 7plus. and for the 1104lect in e afternoon, LINSIEN DIDNT GO FOR 1104LECTURE!!! cb. wanted to ask him how to do 1104lab which was one hour after the 1104 lecture.. lol. didnt go for philo lect at 4pm cuz was busy trying to add more words to my philo paper. and ya. cuz it was raining so i went to slp. heh. monday night was spent preparing for maths test. at midnight we went to ivan's room, celebrate his bday, singsong, eat cake, make noise. lol.

today, was practically stoning in sociology lecture. was trying hard not to sleep. i tink i was dozing on and off during the first hour. during the break went to buy coffee. stupid coke machine ate my 1dollar. so no choice, had to go the megabites cafe to buy coffee. coffee was damn diluted. forced down like half the cup and threw e rest away. 2nd half of lect not too bad. at least e lecturer made one joke. lol. and fisherman's friend didnt really work for lect. and i didnt realise that stan knew jerome and glass.

after tt, went to hand in philo paper. went to mcd, tapau lunch, came back hall, read up on formulas cuz cant bring in formula sheet into exam. and maths exam, wah nabei hard. one hour 12 questions. 5mcq options, so its like 20% chance of shooting correctly. and the worst thing is, for all e questions, the option E was "none of the above".. like farking hell. there were times i calculate my answer diff from theirs, then i was like thinking did i make a mistake in calculation or is there really no answer. siann. and i think i spent too long on e first 6questions. only had like 20mins for e last 6 questions. =s

after test. came back. slept. dinner then went 7-11. gonna start doing 1104questions as there's a 1104 class quiz this friday. and got like 1102test this saturday. next week got soci test and 1104 test. after that have to start on my soci paper already. sigh. thank goodness productions is over.
